Approvals Safe means empty cells, new sheets or slides, and the assistant's own work. Anything that overwrites yours always asks. Office.js scripts For work no typed edit covers. Scripts are shown in full, checked afterwards, and are not undoable. "Own" means a slide or sheet the assistant added in this chat; the assistant checks the rest of the file didn't change. Anything else that changes the file always asks. Reasoning Higher effort thinks longer before acting: more thorough on hard requests, slower and costlier on simple ones. Standing instructions Applies to every request in every chat, in every app. The assistant can propose additions when you say "from now on…".
